Per Dallas Fire/Rescue...

At 23:50 Dallas Fire-Rescue responded to a 911 call for a structure fire at the 7500 block of Greenville Avenue, near the Meadow Road intersection.

When first responding companies arrived, they reported out with a large boarded up facility with lots of fire coming from it. While initial attempts were made to breach an entry point, the fire grew far too intense and was fought defensively from the onset.

Though the fire has officially been tapped out, fire crews are still at the scene conducting overhaul procedures. Damage to the building was so severe that its condition was deemed unsafe for entry and, as a result, will have to be demolished.

There have been no reported injuries to any firefighters or civilians as a result of the fire, and the cause is under investigation.

and this morning...

I’ve received emails from multiple agencies asking if we had found a body at the scene of the Greenville 3-alarm fire.

Other than to tell you that I saw it on NBC, I can’t confirm it. However, considering that it is most likely the case, I am headed to the scene to gather the details.
