Welcome to the neighborhood. Now give us all your copper wire

The new WalMart construction site has not been up for a whole week yet, and the criminal welcome wagon has already made an appearance.

To wit, this DPD Incident Report, noting the theft of $1,500 worth of conduit and wiring from the site sometime between 6pm Wednesday and 8am Thursday morning.

Reporting Person stated his crew secured the work site at about 6 pm on 4-4-12. Upon arrival at site the next morning, 4-5-12, at 6 am, he discovered that pvc pipe had been disconnected.

You don't think it had anything to do with this wide open gate on the east side of the property at 5:44pm? Contrary to the police report, the construction crew had already left for the day.
