NSA Hunt: Can't attend meetings, can't vote??

BD was sent an email missive containing comments from NSA Hunt, wherein she claims her record of not attending meetings of the PLAB and Cultural Affairs Board was being misrepresented by folks like BD, and of course the opposition.

Then BD finds a Kathy Ingle flyer noting NSA has a voting record only a 21-year could be proud of.

Let's see if BD can figure this whole thing out.

Either you are in a room or you are not in a room wherein is contained others attending said meeting, and said presence has been and will be duly recorded in the official meeting records of said group holding said meeting.

Isn't that like saying you are only a little pregnant?? Where is her argument against BD and others saying that her appointments to these boards was resume-padding on the part of Veletta Lill?

NSA Hunt would probably not be able to find her way to a Council meeting without a map and a bored admin helping her along. And we expect her to serve our community faithfully??

Go figure.

The Kathy Ingle campaign pulled NSA's voting record - and turns out she does not have one to speak of.

According to the flyer, and confirmed in BD's copy of the Dallas County Elections records -

  • NSA registered to vote in 1998 (by my reckoning she was 25 and just out of law school)
  • She first voted in 2002, What happened for four years?? Maybe she could not find the polling station??
  • She forgot to vote for Bush the Governor in 1998 or Bush the President in 2002

And here's the best part: She forgot to vote for her own mentor, Veletta Lill, in 1999 and 2001.

BD can only assume she found the polls a few weeks ago to vote for herself.

Would someone tell BD how that kind of crappy voting record makes her qualified to be a city council rep???

Here is the data dump for NSA from the Dallas County Elections Department and other sources. You make the choice.
